Diary Quilt Tuesday

I am so behind in everything! I found out last week I had pneumonia and it knocked my on my butt! I was in bed all weekend and have been napping every afternoon, with no ambition to do anything. Finally today I am starting to feel normal.
This block is to celebrate 36 years married to a wonderful man named, Bob. We met when we were 17 and got married when we were 19. So 4 kids and 4 grandkids later I think it might just last!

Bob definitely got to do the "in sickness" part this weekend. He took good care of me and made me chicken noodle soup (out of a can). Let's not get carried away! Build things, yes, cook, not so much!!! Happy Anniversary Bob!

  4. Happy 36th! So glad to know you're going to make it - recovering from pneumonia AND staying married! We were engaged when 18; married at 19; and will hit 40 years at the end of August. How does that happen!? We were children when we married, weren't we? We have only two kids, but by ratio, we're ahead in the grandie department with four. Life can be a blessing, right?

  13. What a sweet block - I love it! Happy Anniversary - wow 36 years - nice going! Feel better - there's a lot going around - I've been fighting bronchitis & sinuses. Don't try to do too much pneumonia hangs on a while! You're a trooper!

  14. A belated Happy Anniversary to you and Bob! Your block is very sweet - it makes me smile. 36 years is nothing to sneeze (or wheeze!) at - good going!

Keep taking care of yourself, and let Bob help you too. That lung crud is a tough one, and will linger if you're not careful. I hope you feel better soon.
