Crossed Laurels

My block is finally finished. This was a pretty easy block but it took me forever to get to it this week. Today as I was ironing for the picture I noticed some blue dots on the background!


You can see it just below the top red leaf in this picture.  I have to figure out what happened and now how to get it out.

My hope is for this quilt to have a Christmas feel but not overtly Christmas. I like red and green even when it is not Christmas!

    The block looks so fresh and cheerful.. I love it!
    Could the blue dot from a marking pen? Do you use any? Sometimes the erasable pens are not quite what they say they are..
