I love those colors together and sometimes I don't even think Christmas (which a lot of people think with red & green). I would make a quilt for all year long, something fun. I know you will! Debbi Fair
oh heck....a christmas quilt! but one that can be used yearround. Cuz you know: red is the best neutral and green is so everywhere, so IN, etc., just start sewing (if you can stop driving around chester county and celebrating your new freedom!)
I can't wait to see what you do with these beautiful fabrics. I agree.. I never think Christmas when I see this combo.. it's always a garden story for me.. Gorgeous stash!
How about a whole forest of little trees/Christmas trees made of random width strings? Those are nice small designs on the fabric so I definitely see small pieces involved ... great-looking stack!!!

ReplyDeleteBefore I read your post, I read this one. I think it shows off the fabric. Can't wait to see what inspires you,
How about wonky log cabins? That's always my first impulse. Maybe add more white and a little bit of black. Great stack!
ReplyDeletea christmas quilt, of course. Christmas trees and 9 patches?? ;)
ReplyDeleteYour fabric choices get yummier and yummier. Can't wait to see what you do with those wonderful fabrics!!!
