KNOWLEDGE IS POWER, BUT IT DOESN'T MAKE MY BLOW DRYER RUN!

Friday Is The Big Day!!!

No, not the Royal Wedding, the first day of the Penn Oaks Quilt Show!! I spent last night adding a sleeve or 2 to some quilts that didn't have one.

A blog I read called Stitched In Color wrote an interesting post that has really taken off. Who knew there was such angst in the quilting/sewing community? If you get a chance take a look and let me know what you think.

It is going to be 83 here today!! Get outside and enjoy the sunshine.

  3. Have fun and enjoy the warm day!! It makes me sad that there is the angst going on in something we all love....quilting! I'll be glad when the storm blows over.As my mother-in-law always used to say, "It would be a dull world if we all liked the same thing."

  4. Oh that post has me fuming! Sure I don't like some things either but didn't we get taught that if we don't have something nice to say not to say it. If she dosn't like those things why dosn't she just move on to blogs that she does enjoy and find inspiring. Daily life is full of whingers, we don't need them in our bloggy life too. Oh dear, now I sound like a whinger! You did ask...

On a lighter note, my local quilt show starts on Friday too!! I was just putting sleeves and labels on my quilts last night. Funny how it takes a quilt show to make me label my quilts, LOL!

  5. Ooooh, quilt show season! I share your excitement. I have 4 sleeves to put on before I drop quilts off to a show on Sunday. And I get to go to another show to look around on Friday. Have fun!
