American Made Brand Giveaway

This is pretty exciting! Clothworks has come out with a line of solid fabrics completely made in the USA! It's called American Made Brand.

They have sent me a stack to giveaway to one of my friends who read my blog. Maybe you?

There are 8 fat quarters in the stack. Please leave me a comment and tell me what is your favorite state and why. I will pull a name on Friday May 22. If you are a no reply commenter please leave your email address or I have no way of contacting you and will have to pull another name.
Good Luck!

Kelly

  3. With 50 to choose from this is a tough call and my favorite probably could change depending on the day. I love Massachusetts because of the history, architecture and beaches. Also have a soft spot for Vermont...

  7. I have many states that I love! My very favorite would be NY, because it is the state that feels most like "home." I love the Catskill Mountains, I love the Syracuse/Rochester area to the north, I love the Binghampton area in the southwest, and I love Brooklyn and Manhattan.

  11. Illinois is my favorite state because my eldest son is living and working there. I visited him and loved that place, especially Oak Park and of course the lake.

  12. My adopted state of Pennsylvania is my favorite state. We have everything here, Philadelphia has incredible history including the very first zoo and some of the top restaurants in the country, Lancaster county is a short drive with Amish buggies and beautiful rolling farms and hills. As you drive through the state there are gorgeous majestic mountains and if it's Fall, the changing leaves are breathtaking. We have Fallingwater by Frank Lloyd Wright, the Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross House and the solemn Gettysburg Battlefield made so famous by President Lincoln in the Gettysburg Address. I love it here!

  13. Can I say my own state? I love Washington. It's so diverse with the ocean beaches, the very green side of the state, the gorgeous rock formations on the east side of the state, the fabulous Columbia river, all the beautiful mountains with the snow caps, the rolling wheat fields, the miles of apple orchards, the slow moving rural communities and then there's the sophisticated Seattle-ites! LOVE living here! Great that you got chosen to have this wonderful giveaway.:)

  14. I'd have to say that Oregon is my favorite state. There's so many things to do, you have to pick and choose between going to a music festival or hiking or exploring one of the many farmer's markets. ;) Thank you for hosting a give-away!

  20. My favorite state is where I live: Virginia. We experience all 4 seasons, but winter is generally mild where I live. Just enough snow to keep it interesting. Seven of my siblings and their families live in VA, so I've seen most of the state. We have beaches, mountains, farms and cities. Great colleges too.

  21. Georgia because I live here, thanks for the chance

  22. I feel like I should be loyal to Minnesota (where I grew up) or South Dakota (where I was born) or Pennsylvania (where I live now), but actually my favorite state is Maine. I always, always, always wanted to go there growing up (possibly from reading Blueberries for Sal!), and now that we are close enough, we go there almost every year for summer vacation, and have the most fantastic time! It's like Minnesota with all of the lakes and pines, but by the sea too. There is a beach we go to there with sand that floats and sparkles golden in the water. sarah@forrussia.org

I love the weather (Hot Hot Hot!!) and there is just so much to do in the area I live (Dallas/Fort Worth Area). Plus we have at least 30 quilt shops within 1 1/2 hours where i live. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

  37. North Carolina: has both the mountains and the beach; Washington: just cool, Alaska: the final frontier; Hawaii: gorgeous tropics

  38. Washington is one of my favorite states. Your solid colors remind me of my daughter' wedding at a park on the Puget Sound in 2011. Her table flowers were hydrangeas. Bridesmaids gowns were sage green. The Pacific Northwest setting with a view of the Olympics and Mt Rainier was truly a masterpiece.

  57. It's hard to pick a favorite–I tend to enjoy the best wherever I am has to offer and I have lived a bit of a tumbleweed life. I choose New Mexico, the place I am now. I do miss the ocean (or the next best thing--the great lakes) at time, but I still choose to live here.
