This is pretty exciting! Clothworks has come out with a line of solid fabrics completely made in the USA! It's called American Made Brand.
There are 8 fat quarters in the stack. Please leave me a comment and tell me what is your favorite state and why. I will pull a name on Friday May 22. If you are a no reply commenter please leave your email address or I have no way of contacting you and will have to pull another name.
Good Luck!

Michigan is where I live. It's my favorite state because of Lake Michigan beaches! The most beautiful spot on the earth to me.
ReplyDeleteCome on over to my blog for another AMB giveaway and to take a look at the license plate I created to represent the state of Pennsylvania: www.CherylLynchQuilts.blogspot.com.
ReplyDeleteWith 50 to choose from this is a tough call and my favorite probably could change depending on the day. I love Massachusetts because of the history, architecture and beaches. Also have a soft spot for Vermont...
ReplyDeleteOver the years I have had a chance to visit and live in in several states from the South, to the South West to the West Coast and now the North West. Right now the love of my life Is my home state of Oregon.
ReplyDeleteI love Nevada and hope to move back soon!
ReplyDeleteFavorite state is a tough one. I will say Illinois. It is my favorite because tome it represents family. It is my Mom's home state and I have lots of cousins still here. :)
ReplyDeleteI have many states that I love! My very favorite would be NY, because it is the state that feels most like "home." I love the Catskill Mountains, I love the Syracuse/Rochester area to the north, I love the Binghampton area in the southwest, and I love Brooklyn and Manhattan.
ReplyDeleteEasy one, Minnesota! Land of 10,000 lakes - beautiful! Plus it's my homeland, so nostalgic!
ReplyDeletePennsylvania is my favorite. More specific is Lancaster County is a great place to live and visit. Thos colors are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBorn & raised in Lancaster County as well!
DeleteFor me it's simple…Michigan. Beautiful beaches, water, forests….and I can show you where I'm from by pointing at the palm of my hand!
ReplyDeleteIllinois is my favorite state because my eldest son is living and working there. I visited him and loved that place, especially Oak Park and of course the lake.
ReplyDeleteMy adopted state of Pennsylvania is my favorite state. We have everything here, Philadelphia has incredible history including the very first zoo and some of the top restaurants in the country, Lancaster county is a short drive with Amish buggies and beautiful rolling farms and hills. As you drive through the state there are gorgeous majestic mountains and if it's Fall, the changing leaves are breathtaking. We have Fallingwater by Frank Lloyd Wright, the Liberty Bell, the Betsy Ross House and the solemn Gettysburg Battlefield made so famous by President Lincoln in the Gettysburg Address. I love it here!
ReplyDeleteCan I say my own state? I love Washington. It's so diverse with the ocean beaches, the very green side of the state, the gorgeous rock formations on the east side of the state, the fabulous Columbia river, all the beautiful mountains with the snow caps, the rolling wheat fields, the miles of apple orchards, the slow moving rural communities and then there's the sophisticated Seattle-ites! LOVE living here! Great that you got chosen to have this wonderful giveaway.:)
ReplyDeleteI'd have to say that Oregon is my favorite state. There's so many things to do, you have to pick and choose between going to a music festival or hiking or exploring one of the many farmer's markets. ;) Thank you for hosting a give-away!

My favorite state is Maine because it's one of the few I've never been to, and the summers look so beautiful to this quilter in hot south Texas!
ReplyDeleteIn the 32 years that I have been married, I have lived in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Arizona and California. But I will have to say that my favorite state is Hawaii .............. many beautiful beaches there and wonderful people ..... no rush, rush, hurry to get things done attitudes .... nice and laid back ....

ReplyDeleteI love Florida. That is why I moved here, lots of things to do all around the year
ReplyDeleteI love Maine, not only because it is beautiful but also because of the wonderful, friendly, helpful people here. We just did a Shop Hop and visited 39 shops all over the state and each was so different with such helpful clerks/owners.

My favorite state is where I live: Virginia. We experience all 4 seasons, but winter is generally mild where I live. Just enough snow to keep it interesting. Seven of my siblings and their families live in VA, so I've seen most of the state. We have beaches, mountains, farms and cities. Great colleges too.
ReplyDeleteGeorgia because I live here, thanks for the chance
ReplyDeleteI feel like I should be loyal to Minnesota (where I grew up) or South Dakota (where I was born) or Pennsylvania (where I live now), but actually my favorite state is Maine. I always, always, always wanted to go there growing up (possibly from reading Blueberries for Sal!), and now that we are close enough, we go there almost every year for summer vacation, and have the most fantastic time! It's like Minnesota with all of the lakes and pines, but by the sea too. There is a beach we go to there with sand that floats and sparkles golden in the water. sarah@forrussia.org
ReplyDeleteCalifornia because as of right now, it's the only state I've ever lived in. Just in case my profile is set up wrong: whikerybasket (at) gmail (dot) com.
ReplyDeleteWas going to say AZ since we just got back from Sedona such beautiful area but instead must say MI the state I was raised in the land of lakes so many beautiful lakes to swim and ski and boat in
ReplyDeleteCan Aussies join in? If I had to pick a state I'd say the state you live so we could go to the nearby Amish strawberry farm together.
ReplyDeleteI love New York State because that's where I grew up. I love the vineyards and apple orchards, the many finger lakes and the mountains. Truth be told, I also miss those thunderstorms too!
ReplyDeleteMy heart is in Wisconsin, because I adopted this wonderful state 35 years ago as my home. But when wanting paradise, I travel to Maine!

ReplyDeleteI love so many states, it's hard to choose just one! I grew up in Vermont and went on summer vacations to Maine, love both of those states. I also love Hawaii for it's warm weather and beautiful beaches. But if I have to choose a favorite...it's Colorado. The Rockies are just so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteNew York - it has all 4 seasons, ocean, big city, small towns, mountains, state parks.

I've enjoyed every state I've visited, but I'm choosing my home state, Missouri. I love the rows and rows of corn and beans, distinct seasons, the lake area and fun cities.
ReplyDeleteGood for Clothworks and USA made.
ReplyDeleteI live in Missouri and have visited Az. couple of times. Loved it because my Mo. allergy's didn't bother me and I could BREATH.
I love Texas!! I first visited Texas when I was 12 years old and told my mom "I'm going to live in Texas one day"....flash ahead 11 years and where do I end up...yep...you guessed it..Texas!! Been here 28 years and never gonna leave.
ReplyDeleteI love the weather (Hot Hot Hot!!) and there is just so much to do in the area I live (Dallas/Fort Worth Area). Plus we have at least 30 quilt shops within 1 1/2 hours where i live. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
Montana, because it is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNorth Carolina: has both the mountains and the beach; Washington: just cool, Alaska: the final frontier; Hawaii: gorgeous tropics
ReplyDeleteWashington is one of my favorite states. Your solid colors remind me of my daughter' wedding at a park on the Puget Sound in 2011. Her table flowers were hydrangeas. Bridesmaids gowns were sage green. The Pacific Northwest setting with a view of the Olympics and Mt Rainier was truly a masterpiece.
ReplyDeleteRight now, my favorite state is California since that is where I live. Thanks for the chance to win. I love the untouched coastal areas.
ReplyDeleteok...right now my favorite state is Arizona...where the Snowbirds go from Canada eh? Can you blame me? Last week we had SNOW! Enough snow that we had to shovel! Any time we can get away, it's usually Arizona...but then closer to home is Montana, which I love as well! Thanks for the opportunity to win! I look forward to following your blog!
ReplyDeleteWell...really do love Ohio...'specially since is where I live! lol But our Daughter moved to NC several years ago...and I loooove it there!! The Ocean is soooo Awesome! & get time with daughter if we go down to visit! :)

DeleteThanks for the chance to try out these new solids, Kelly. If you haven't visited my home state of Colorado then you need to put it at the top of your list of future vacation spots!
ReplyDeleteWell, that's an easy one. It has to be PA because that's where our family lives and we like to visit!

ReplyDeleteIt's hard to pick a favorite–I tend to enjoy the best wherever I am has to offer and I have lived a bit of a tumbleweed life. I choose New Mexico, the place I am now. I do miss the ocean (or the next best thing--the great lakes) at time, but I still choose to live here.
