The Roseville Album Quilt

I have decided to make this quilt. It is going to take a long time to make this one.

This is the first block I made and I am pretty happy with my fabric choices. I think it takes me longer to pick them out than to stitch the block! I fussy cut the fabric for the basket and I like how the rose in the center turned out.

I used Perfect Circles by Karen Kay Buckley to make my circles. They are easy to make using this product and I am happy with how round they look.

These are three more farbic picked out for the quilt, the choices are never ending! While most of the fabrics I will use will be Kaffe Fassett fabrics, I am throwing in some others too.
If you are interested in the pattern you can get it at http://www.gloriouscolor.com/
Beware there is a lot of beautiful fabric there also!

For more beautiful quilts by Kim McLean, made by other quilters, there is a blog called gloriousapplique.blogspot.com You will find lots of inspiration!
