Challenge

This year I was one of the people in charge of the challenge in the Penn Oaks Quilt Guild. Our theme was "Where You Live". It could be anything, real, fantasy, and they all did a great job. The only problem was I forgot to take pictures! When you are in charge that can be a "challenge".  They will be hung at our upcoming quilt show and I promise I will take pictures.
Mine shows me living in my pink and green house surrounded by fabric. It is even sort of log cabinish. The triangles along the side were just a design decision because it needed something else. I like doing them wonky, it made it go fast and was fun.

Speaking of the quilt show, it is right around the corner. If you live anywhere near us please come and enjoy a wonderful group of quilters who put on a spectacular quilt show. Our guild has only 60 members and every single person contributes in some way to make this a huge success. I promise you will not be disappointed.

The other day I took a picture of something on my ironing board and it looked pretty bad. I made a new pretty pink one this weekend. I hoping it will make ironing a little more fun, not that I iron too many things other than fabric....

  1. What a beautiful bright happy home!! What size is your quilt? The show sounds wonderful, I'm sure you'll have a lot of visitors. I'm looking forward to lots of photos. Your new ironing board cover is so pretty too. New ones look so pretty that it makes you wonder why you left it so long.
