KNOWLEDGE IS POWER, BUT IT DOESN'T MAKE MY BLOW DRYER RUN!

Rainy Tuesday

I love a rainy day, I get so much done. It also makes me feel creative and not guilty about going outside and doing things that need to get done out there.
Yes I am a little obsessed with the post cards...but a friend was turning 50 and there was a party this weekend and I knew she would love it, and she did. I really enjoy making something for some one who really, really, really appreciates the time and effort you put into it.

I also made another baby quilt (pattern by Oh Fransson!) for my cousin Mary Beth who is coming to visit this week. It is for her first grandson.

I used a polka dot instead of plain white and like it very much.

I also decided not to use very "baby" like fabrics. I think she is going to really like it.

I finished my part of the Longwood Gardens Quilt. I am not sure if I am allowed to show you the entire panel so I will wait. As soon as it is quilted I will post the pictures.

Happy birthday Judie, Cheryl and Don!

Kelly

  1. I love the postcard too - so bright and happy!

And looking at the quilt was a "light bulb" moment - I know what I can do with the charm pack I won; all I have to do is find a fabric that works with it (perhaps even one from the same line!). Thanks Kelly!

The post card is so bright and cheery, and the baby quilt looks wonderful. Love the fabrics you have used in the pattern.
