I am celebrating my first year of blogging with a give away every Friday in September. I went to the PNQE quilt show yesterday and found some things I think you might like. The book Scrap Republic and a set of charms called Ruby . All you need to do is leave me a comment, become a follower and then check back on Thursday when I will announce the winner. No reply people you must leave your email or you cannot win so please be sure to do that.
Wednesday was a very successful day for one of the guilds I belong to, Calico Cutters. We had our challenge, that was to make a small quilt for the
Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative . We had 48 people make quilts! They were all so creative and many agreed they were a lot of fun to make!
This is just a few of some of the wonderful quilts our ladies made. We also allowed anyone to buy a quilt for $100 with all the proceeds going to
AAQI. We sold 9 quilts!!!! Yes we made $900!!! The rest of the quilts will be auctioned off at their website. If you are interested in purchasing a quilt go check it out. Great job ladies!!!
