I haven't felt well for the past 2 days so I am laying low. I have this at the ready just in case the feeling to sew moves me.
I am reading a good book for book club, Keep Quiet by Lisa Scottoline. It is giving me a lot of anxiety! I think it will make for a good discussion. The book takes place in the area that I live too! Has anyone out there read it?
Kelly
Take care and get better soon. That tray of hexie making things is so pretty. I haven't read that book, it's fun that it's set in your area but I'm not sure that it's good to be giving you anxiety. Sounds like a very interesting book club book!
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better - those hexies are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI have not read this book. However I have read "Look Again" that was a great murder mystery and "Meet Me At Emotional Baggage Claim" that was a wonderful really life read co written with her daughter (boy she can be funny in this book). Will be interesting to hear your opinion on this one!You gotta get better soon so we can meet up!!!
ReplyDeleteOh that is a heavenly picture! Feel better soon so you can play. Enjoy your book.
ReplyDeleteSorry you aren't feeling well. Seems to be a lot of crud going around.
ReplyDeleteHaven't read the book but now I'm curious! I do hope you are feeling better very soon. Take care of yourself!
ReplyDeleteWell, if looking at that pink doesn't make you feel better nuthin' will……maybe you needed to just rest a little with a good book. That's sounds so restful to me!!
ReplyDeleteI got my 9 patches today…clapping!!
Feel better soon!!
feel better - pink is the perfect pick me up color.
ReplyDeletei'll have to check out the book - sounds interesting.
Kelly, you could work in the industry, as my daughter says. Stylist! Not a huge fan of pink and still I'm smiling at the lovely vignette. I want to sew those hexies!
ReplyDeleteI've read lots of Lisa Scottoline books but not that one yet. They're good to listen to also.
Feel better, Kelly! Your hexies are cute as always!! I've read a few of Lisa Scottoline's books, but one I couldn't finish- hit too close to home...
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better and back at creating those lovely hexies. I haven't read Lisa Scottolini in awhile. I'll have to pick up this one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the book recommendation Kelly, my sister has read everything of hers. I love your pretty pink hexies! Did you say where you get your papers? Paperpieces? Your little board is darling! I'm sorry you're not feeling well, I hope it passes quickly!
ReplyDeleteI always appreciate a good book recommendation, and will make a note of this one. I can recommend an excellent series to you... It's "The Selection" trilogy by Kiera Cass. I'm SO hooked on it... and dying to get my hands on the third book! Sorry you haven't been well, but now aren't you glad you prepared extra hexies?
ReplyDeleteI'm catching up on your bogs. Are you making blinded battings to display your work? You are tooooo good Kelly!
ReplyDeleteSorry you are not feeling well, hope by now you are better. Never read that book. I just this last week got back into reading and sewing. Now if I could walk. ;)
