Kelly, I love these feed sacks quilts. I just read the previous post. amazing gift for someone who loves water colors. I am sure she will treasure it forever! And partial words are always better than whole. They leave a little mystery behind in the artwork.
Love the image on this one, would really like to see the whole thing, I like seeing every detail when I can. These are really fun, kind of like the fabric postcards. I send my sister a fabric postcard for part of her birthday every year and she loves them! I learned to do it from your tutorial. Wanted you to know and thanks!
Fantastic little quilts!! I love that you've kept the same sensibilities as the feed sack itself in the fabrics you've used with them. You really captured the feeling they evoke. I never would have thought to use a feedsack as the background! You're so creative, Kelly! I love them both, and I'm sure the recipients will too.

ReplyDeleteLove the fact that you used the words of the feedback for the background.
ReplyDeleteLove it. Can we see a shot of the whole thing?
ReplyDeletePretty little bird. Can hardly wait to see the whole quilt. ;) You know how I hate to wait. LOL
ReplyDeleteLove that bluebird (of happiness ;--))). And that bit of blue in the leaves picking up the color! Beautiful...hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteLOVE!!!
ReplyDeleteLovin' these quilts! So wonderfully creative!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love again!
ReplyDeleteLove this too! :) Great job Kelly! Hugs, Mickie
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are really exquisite. I love the way you've used new fabrics in a way that is sensitive to the feedsack.
