I Am Blaming Carla

When I saw Carla's quilt I knew I was going to cave.

I know I am late to the party, but those 6" blocks are hard to resist!

  1. I can't think of a nice person to blame than Carla! Her FW quilt is gorgeous! You have some tough shoes to fill, and steps to follow, but you're definitely off on the right track. Hope this is lots of fun for you.

  4. You will never believe this. I am still sorting through stuff in the basement storage downsizing even more. I found a few more quilt books and one of them was Farmers Wife. That book is staying here for sure. I do not know when I will get to it but I will. I love you fabrics!!!

Are your blocks paper pieced? How did you get them so crisp? Beautiful work, as usual!!!

  8. Ohhh, I'm so excited that we'll get to watch you make these blocks in your wonderful fabric choices. I got as far as buying the book. The letters written by the farmer's wives are a great read.

  11. Kelly,
I love your color choices for this quilt. This is going to be an amazing project. In some way it reminded me of your diary quilt. Looking forward to seeing it evolve.
