I love the "pin"fabric |
To me there is something so inspiring about Half Square Triangles. The possibilities are endless and fun. I make mine a little bit bigger than the size I need and square them up because I am not an accurate piecer.
Now I have misplaced my small ruler to square them up. How does one lose a ruler? I have torn my sewing room apart and it is not there. That's what happens when all you do is make potholders, important things get lost. You know that if I go out and buy one it will show up. UGH!

Doesn't matter what I make, I always lose something in that room. LOL
ReplyDeleteSome days I think I spend more time looking for things than I do getting anything done.
I love that pin fabric too.
I've lost mine inside folds of fabric more times than I can count! Then I won't find it again until I decided to use that particular fabric for a new quilt.
ReplyDeleteGood luck finding it!!

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. (I just couldn't help myself!) I like to square up HST too, as mine are never the same size!
ReplyDeleteIt is so nice to hear that I am not the only one who can lose something when I haven't even left the room. How does that happen! It is a mystery like socks and a dryer.
ReplyDeleteI'm always covering my tools with piles of fabric, it drives me mad. I recently got THE best ever half square ruler called a BlocLoc ruler, it's excellent for trimming. If you're investing in a new ruler I can recommend it. Of course as soon as you buy a new ruler you'll find your old one, then somehow you'll lose both.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed today's post so much...delicious eye candy!
