Married Girl

Yes I know it is called Single Girl, but I am not, so I am changing the name. I started this at our Penn Oaks Getaway last weekend, and I like it a lot! I finally got to use my newly acquired curved piecing skills.
Yesterday my friend Jane said "you used templates???" Yes and that is part of the reason why it takes so long to make but I like the fact that the pieces are different sizes, it makes it interesting.
This will be a "make a block every once in a while"kind of quilt.

  1. Way back when rotary cutters came out, I was in a small group of quilters - we called templates "the T word", haha. Happy to say I am over that! Love the block, just wondering, is each small piece a template too, or do you free piece the arc, maybe paper piece it? Many ways to make this fun block. Enjoy!

  2. Nice to see templates being used - still. The Quilted Librarian has made several of the Single Girl quilt pattern.

How many will you be making? Will it be a bed size quilt?
