So much for my "I'll be right back with a giveaway!" Time just seems to be slipping away.
I cannot believe I have been blogging for 5 years. I truly gave me back my sanity in a difficult time after a bad accident. It filled many long hours and kept me entertained, not to mention all the friends I have made in blogland!
We had a wonderful speaker and workshop person who came to our guild named Gyleen Fitzgerald from Maryland. I highly recommend her, she is funny, talented and kept us all laughing. She wanted to go to a local quilt shop so I took her to The Quilt Block in Exton PA. It was the perfect time to shop for my giveaway. These fabrics are from Zen Chic and they are brand new!
I took these pictures after dark so they aren't so great but the colors are beautiful in real life. These remind me of olives.
This one reminds me of lanterns.
This one reminds me of olives too!
Because I have been so lax in my blogging, I am giving away 2 stacks, along with the cute little buttons.
To be eligible to win you must make sure I have your email or I will move on to the next person. I will send this anywhere and I would love it if you were a follower.
I will randomly pick a winner next Wednesday 9/16/15.
I would also like you to tell us........ Do you still get quilting magazines? If so which ones and if not why not? It is not necessary to answer in order to win, I am just curious to know!
Give Away is now closed.
Kelly
It looks like I get to be the first to comment! I do not buy quilting magazines -- my penny pinching nature doesn't want to spend money on inspiration that can be got in abundance for free on the internet. However, whenever I come across them I devour them, and if they've been given to me, I rip out pages and pages of quilts to make "someday". Thank you for the beautiful giveaway, and congratulations on 5 years! sarah@forrussia.org
ReplyDeleteI no longer get quilting magazines. For awhile I subscribed to one online but let that one lapse. I love applique and none of the magazines really appealed to me.
ReplyDeleteI don't buy quilt magazines on a regular basis for just the reasons Sarah said. I will buy a magazine if there is a specific pattern I want, but most of the time I can find a free pattern for a similar quilt online. So many of the quilts in magazines are just reworking the same patterns.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your blogiversary! The only quilting magazine I'm getting now is American Quilter.
ReplyDeleteI don't subscribe anymore although I love to look at them. I just don t like all that paper piling up plus i already have a huge backlog of quilts i really really want to make and I'm so easily seduced by the temptation of the newest and cleverest!
ReplyDeleteI don't get quilting magazines anymore, which is probably a good thing as I would hoard them!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on 5 years of blogging! I have "met" several blogging friends myself and they are wonderful. I just wished we all lived in the same neighborhood! I'm crushing on those modern ZenChic fabrics...so colorful and pretty. I don't subscribe to any quilting magazines, but I do buy one at the newsstand when I find more than one project in an issue that tickles me. Otherwise, I like to get my ideas and inspiration from blogs like yours!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your anniversary and thanks for the giveaway. I don't get quilting magazines since I find so many inspirations on-line and from other quilters. There has been an occasion when I buy a quilting magazine because the content catches my eye.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Follow on Blig lovin!
ReplyDeleteNo mags since www. Thanks for a neat giveaway!
msstitcher1214@gmail.com
Congrats on your blogversary! I don't subscribe to magazines anymore for the same reasons as mentioned above. I still have some that are 10-15 years old.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really fun and unusual set of prints that you have chosen. I REALLY hope that I win this time.
ReplyDeleteUmmm.....magazines? I did get Fons and Porter's "love of quilting", but honestly, I don't have room to store lots of things, so I wind up tearing out just the designs I might want to try, and then, I rarely try them ! But I love storing photos of quilts that I see online that inspire me.
I don't know if I am a follower or not, but I have your blog in my sidebar so that I can see your latest posts. I enjoy them.
Congrats on your Blogaversary! It's great meeting new bloggers and being inspired by them! As for magazines...I would pick one up almost every month...and now only subscribe to American Patchwork//aka All People Quilt. I find their magazine is full of great things, plus their website has a lot of patterns for free. onlydiamonds [at] hotmail [dot] com
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely parcel of fabrics for a giveaway! Congratulations on 5 years. It does take a lot of time and commitment, so a big pat on the back for that. I rarely buy magazines. Usually only when I see something that I really love and want in a pattern. Mostly I read my friends cast offs or the freebies at the library. These days I find that IG and the internet have enough to inspire me, and those photos I love I pin on my Pinterest page. So many things are inspiring that I will never get around to them all.
ReplyDeleteI get Fons & Porter Love of Quilting, but I don't think I will renew it. Lots of times I don't see one quilt in it that I want to make. I've got so many quilts on my bucket list that I don't need any more patterns! Thanks for the give away!
ReplyDeleteI have a sub to Block from Missouri Star Quilt Company.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win.
theeclecticabuela@gmail.com
Modern Patchwork is about the only magazine I buy now. Love your blog. Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE quilt magazines and subscribe to several--American Patchwork, Fons and Porter, Quilter's Newsletter, and just started a subscription to Primitive Quilts and Projects. Love to put my feet up and sip coffee while looking through them. I've a very tactile person, so I want to touch those glossy pages. Plus, I like the full size applique patterns that are all ready to go when I am. Digital version is just not satisfying--plus, I can flip pages much faster than I can wait for pages to load!! Kathy ppskdd2@airmail.net
ReplyDeleteAwesome Give-a-way!! Love those Pins! :) Thanks for chance to win! & Happy Blogiversary too! Love your blog...please keep Posting!
ReplyDeleteI get Love of Quilting ( Daughter gave as gift subscription), and I get myself the McCall's Easy Quilts :) Easy Patterns, and just love the pictures, ideas & inspiration.
I get Quiltmaker and Block. I might add McCalls back. I love the fabric. Great colors.
ReplyDeleteI don't buy any magazines - I prefer blogs!! I don't need the clutter just now, our flat is fairly small. Blogs have certainly kept my sanity over the last couple of years. I follow yours on bloglovin. I'd live to win the fabric - I'm on a self imposed fabric diet at the moment!! emilyste7ens at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteMy sweet grandmother sends me Love of Quilting in the mail. I love getting this and being able to flip through and get inspired. I prefer books and magazines to online, so it is nice to get in the mail.
ReplyDeletedetermineddebby at gmail dot com
I get QuiltMaker on my Nook electronically and pick the occasional one off the rack when it catches my eye. I am using this fabric line for the block swap with Fun with Barb! Love the whole line!
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!
Congratulations on your prolific posting! I used to subscribe to quilting magazines but now I get all my quilting inspiration and information online. But I haven't thrown out any of those old magazines! Thanks for sharing your beautiful fabric!
ReplyDeleteI rarely ever buy magazines. It has to be something I really want to make. I usually just figure out what I want to make and go for it.
ReplyDeleteHello Kelly ! Happy anniversary and congratulations !!
ReplyDeleteI buy, as many french quilters, Quiltmania and when I order some fabrics on Fat Quarter, I never forget to buy American Patchwork and Quilting ! I subscribed 3 years ago to Primitive Quilts and Projects but stopped this automn because too much wool in the patterns for me !
Thank you so much for this giveaway !
I wish you a lovely day !! ;)
Congratulations on your anniversary and thanks for the offer to win these gorgeous fabrics. I seldom buy magazines, not just because of price (in UK you can get books for a little more), but also I find them very 'samey'. I get more than enough ideas and inspiration on line, not to mention really useful tutorials and tips from generous, experienced quilters. Christine. Treadle51@icloud.com
ReplyDeleteI don't buy any quilting magazines but I do buy Love Sewing magazine for their Simple Sew dressmaking patterns. Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteIain.ross30 at gmail dot com
Hi Kellie, Congratulations on blogging for 5 years! You have chosen such funky fabrics for your give away. I used to buy quilting magazines all the time but ended up with hundreds of them which I had to get rid of when we moved. Now that I have discovered the world of quilting on the net I dont really feel like I need to buy them any more. Sometimes I just feel like reading a magazine and buy one but rarely now. I think you have my email but its billabourie@gmail.com.
ReplyDeleteI will occasionally buy a quilt magazine if it is recommended to me, but rarely! Quiltmania is my favourite, because their articles are always interesting, as well as the lovely projects. A real life paper product is a pleasure to hold and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the blog anniversary -- I've only been following about a year or so but long the inspiration I get from your projects. Love the fabrics -- I have an orange project for a niece in the near future and these would go great with it!! I do still get 5 quilt magazines but I share them with my mom. I just wish they didn't all come at the same time so I could spread out the enjoyment. cherylrandleman4@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteLove these fabrics. Will need to hit TQB to get some as well. I still do get a couple magazines. Two because i belong to organizations that produce them. And a few others because they still seem to inspire me - McCalla quilting, Quilting Arts and Stitch. But the latter two I get digitally.
ReplyDeleteI no longer have a subscription to any quilt magazines. Pinching pennies. But...................... if one catches my eye. I will snap it up.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the give a way.
Great fabrics. I still get STITCH magazine because I like the variety of projects and the patterns. I have given up other quilt magazines.
ReplyDeletelenelson(at)mail(dot)com
I don't usually Buy or Subscribe to Quilt Magazines unless there is a Special Offer. sometimes buy one off the rack, . I just stopped Getting Fons and Porter, I get AllpeopleQuilt on line and I love the Simple projects there.. I just got a whole bunch of old Quilting Magazines that someone didn't want at a Neighbor's Estate Auction. I haven't even had a chance to look through them yet... This is A Nice Giveaway...
ReplyDeletewthomp@windstream.net
I still have a subsription to Quiltmania, I buy Quiltsampler ( for The information on great quiltshops) and occasionaly Quilters Companion or another Australian magazine. I am an Belgian follower of your blog and on instagram. Thanks for a chance to win such a lovely bundle.
ReplyDeletemartinepoelman@ yahoo.co.uk
I'm glad you enjoyed Gyleen. Five years...wow! Seems like just yesterday til I ponder all that has happened since that awful day. I no longer get quilt magazines. I no longer find them as inspiring...I think I get that from blogs & Pinterest plus all the books I have on my shelves...and from life itself!
ReplyDeleteI do get a few magazines still such as machine quilting unlimited. I feel this was is a constant update on all that is going on in the quilting works right now. Many of the magazines are just simple repeats of patterns that have been around forever. I truly like designing myself.
ReplyDeleteAh the 16th is my birthday...I still do American Patchwork magazine. I am a follower.
ReplyDeletejleibfried@aol.com
Thanks for a chance
Congratulations on your blog anniversary. I always enjoy seeing what you are up to. I took a class with Gyleen this year and she was great. I still get primitive quilts and American patchwork. I like to look at the projects and quilts on paper and not on the computer. I find it easier to follow a pattern this way too.
ReplyDeleteKelly, Congratulations on 5 years of bloggy adventures :) I don't know about how you feel but I have changed a lot in my interests since I first started blogging about my bloggy parts of life! lol
ReplyDeleteI have been a hand quilter 4 years now.. started my bloggy life as a paper crafter though.. much prefer the lifelong lasting quilts I make now to the paper cards/gifts I used to make for sure! So to answer your question.. I did used to get a mag subscription to Fons & Porter's love of quilting.. however I realized I never made much from them but did gleen lots of knowledge and information... now I buy only if I find a book/mag that interests me and has something I know I will be making in the next 2 years.. .otherwise I put it on a wishlist until I am in that 2 year timeframe.. Thanks for the giveaway... my stash could surely use some updating and the pins you chose are precious!!! Kathi kathi.clower66@gmail.com
Congrats on your anniversary. I subscribe to Primitive Quilts and other Projects, and get Quiltmania from my LQS. I'm more of a traditional quilter, and i haven't seen much in the magazine that was appealing to me. Until recently. Now I find I'm buying several off the new stands (APQ, Quiltmaker, Mccalls) and I'm considering subscribing. Gutenson50 (at) loudounwireless.com
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary. You are one of my all time favorite bloggers and I love visiting for inspiration and a laugh. Great fabrics. I feel piggy joining the giveaway, so give everyone else a chance. I just got a invitation from McCalls for $12. for a whole year, so I'll give it a go. I can always toss them on the guild free table. I feel that magazines have gone the "too easy and fast pattern" route and not enough inspiration, jut copying. Okay I'll step off my soap box ;)
ReplyDeleteCongrats to you, 5 years! Since I am newer to quilting, I have not subscribed to any major magazines. My sister did a gift subscription to Block magazine for each of us. BH&G just sent a 2 years for price of one year offer out, so I may explore that one. Magazines have gotten to pricey and are not always filled with exciting things. I look at blogs and Instagram as newer forms of magazines without the ads. Plus you look at just what appeals to you and not stuff targeted for another audience. Would love to win these, they would match some other fabric I was given.
ReplyDeleteMy email for above post is magpienmom@aol.com, too quick to hit the publish button.

ReplyDeleteHappy blogaversary Kelly! Only Quilting Arts magazine, that's enough for me, rather spend money on fabric! Lol ! Chris
ReplyDeleteSo glad you continue to blog. I always enjoy reading your posts. The only magazine I get regularly is Quiltmania and that I pick up at a quilt shop. Super cute fabrics.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, 5 years ago you were inspired to start a blog and now have a wonderful success story.
ReplyDeleteWishing you many more wonderful years.
Thank you, for the chance to win this giveaway. Regarding magazines, I do not subscribe to any quilting magazines as I prefer quilting books. They are a bit larger to store but I can return to them over and over again without them being damaged.
gabbytscott@gmail.com
Hi I came over from Instagram to follow!!! No 666 anymore!😈
ReplyDeleteI don't get any quilt magazine by subscription but them up now and then. I also really love Taproot magazine. Love those fabrics and would easily find a way to use them if you draw my name!
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI buy Quilters Newsletter off the newstand occasionally. Fun fabrics. Thanks for a chance to win, and I hope you stick around for lots more!
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty fabrics and I always enjoy reading your blog!! Thanks for having a give-away! As to quilt magazines, I do not subscribe to any by mail but as I read someone else's post I remembered that I subscribed to Australian Homespun online this year just to get a particular block of the month pattern by Kaffe Fassett and Material Obsession.
ReplyDeleteI follow via e-mail and I don't buy many magazines any more - I was getting way too many and have donated a bunch to my quilt guild to sell at our next quilt show. Thanks for the chance to win this beautiful fabric!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your blogaversary and thanks for the giveaway. The fabrics are gorgeous! I no longer have any subscriptions to quilting magazines. I still enjoy looking at them in the stores, but only buy one if it has a pattern that really catches my eye. lraetaylor at gmail.com
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I used to buy Quilty magazine every month, but they are no more. Now I pick up a random one now and again if it looks interesting. Good question!
ReplyDeleteI've stopped buying quilting magazines....I feel like I've found my quilting voice and prefer to make up my own designs....I love the freedom it has given me
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! I follow you on Instagram. I stopped subscribing to magazines about a year ago. The net is my sconce for inspiration. I will occasionally buy a magazine if I'm traveling for a quick read.
ReplyDeleteNo subscription to quilt magazines....I occasionally pick up quiltmaker at the store. I quit when all they seemed to be doing was selling a new fabric line and they all started looking the same.
ReplyDelete5 Years... Seems like forever sometimes and just yesterday the other times!
Congrats on your five year anniversary! I do still subscribe to a couple quilt magazines: Quiltmania and American Patchwork and Quilting. Every few years I will add McCalls or Quiltmaker for a year and then let them drop. If I had to choose only one, it would be Quiltmania--so inspiring!
ReplyDeleteHappy 5 year Blogiversary! I used to have at least three magazine subscriptions but have let them all expire. I do occasionally pick up one if flipping through it in a check out line something catches my eye. I have picked up the American Patchwork & Quilting when they do their 10 Best Shoppes issues.
ReplyDeleteI used to, but they have gotten so expensive! I usually now search blogs and web searches for tips and patterns now! LOVE THESE FABRICS!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the fabrics you picked. I do get American Patchwork and quilting and I have since they started. I get the AQS magazine and off and on I will do a subscription to Fons and Porter. I get some magazines thru zinio but there is just something about holding the real issue in my hands. Thanks for the giveaway ! Hugs
ReplyDeleteWhat great fabrics - thanks for the chance! I still subscribe to AP&Q and my mom always gets me Fons and Porter subscription for my birthday. I just like to find something other than bills in the mailbox and I still make things from them occasionally. I can't seem to stop buying Quiltmania and with the extra you pay for importing it to Canada I should probably just subscribe to it too :0) Congratulations on 5 years of blogging - I hope there are many more!
ReplyDeleteI don't subscribe to any quilting magazines anymore, I don't have the heart to throw any of them away, and I have quite a few. There are so many free designs on the internet! Thanks for the chance to win! jacklynnsteven at netzero dot com
ReplyDeleteI subscribe to one quikting magazine but mostly I buy them from time to time..I like the American ones best but cannot always find them, I have too small a house to store them complete so I cut out pieces I like and store them in plastic folders.
ReplyDeleteI occasionally buy magazines if I see something I really want to make. I don't subscribe as it's quite expensive and I don't often make much from magazines. I prefer to buy individual patterns or books.
ReplyDelete5 years of good quilty fun right? lol Your blog has always been bright, happy and fun. I am admiring your fabric choices. Will have to hunt them down and check out the rest of the line. I still subscribe to Fon's & Porter's Love of Quilting and Primitive Quilts and Projects. I have wanted to subscribe to Quiltmania for years but just can't justify spending the money.:)
ReplyDeleteloyal follow on gfc, enjoy reading when you post
ReplyDeleteHappy 5 years! Follower on Bloglovin'. No magazines, very picky about patterns I like. I could go through a whole pile and not find something that catches my eye. I find allot more I like on the internet. 24Tangent@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your 5 year bloganniversary!! It is a long time ins't it?! Your fabrics are fun and have nice colours.
ReplyDeleteAbout the magazines: I just stopped Quiltmania. I have had it for 14 years I think. The first ones were in French. It is just that I find a little bit less interesting. I will buy it in the shops if I think I like it. I'm curious at the new one: Simply Modern and hope to buy that one.
Groetjes
Annemieke
Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteI get Block magazine because, as a beginner I use a lot of pre cuts. I have tried other magazines but their patterns were too hard for me so I stopped getting them. I use patterns from blogs and also Moda Bake Shop.
Congratulations on 5 years!! I have subscribed to McCall's Quilting and American Patchwork & Quilting for a number of years and really enjoy them both. I like having a book in hand where I can snuggle under a quilt and page through it & dream. Thanks for the fun! crazy(dot)boutquilts(at)yahoo(dot)com
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely fabrics. Love the colours. I rarely buy Patchwork magazines now. I used to but I don't find there is much to interest me now. Get more inspiration from Flickr and Pinterest. If I do buy a magazine it tends to be Australian Patchwork and Quilting. Linda on travjonuk@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your anniversary. Love your colourful work. I regularly get Love Patchwork and Quilting, and often Quiltmania,, and always have a look at the others to see if there is something of interest. I am trying to buy less as I never seem to make from them.
ReplyDeleteI'm on a tight budget so no magazines for me! I do peek at them in the store if something on the cover catches my eye but aside from that I'm pretty much a free pattern quilter. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteStephdeagostini@gmail.com
I buy a quilting magazine once in awhile,if there is a pattern I really like. I mostly find patterns on the Internet. Congrats on your anniversary. Thanks for the chance to win.
ReplyDeleteDmac5958ataoldotcom
Oh, I love those fabrics. I'm crazy about just about anything from Zen Chic. Magazines - I still subscribe to APQ and Quilting Arts, but I'm seriously considering letting them go. There's not that much in them that floats my boat. Once in a great while I'll buy one I don't have in the store, but mostly I get my inspiration on the internet and Pinterest.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the blog anniversary! I really enjoy your posts! I can't believe it's been 5 years either. Wow.
We seem to be able to find any excuse to shop for fabric and of course a give away is a great reason. I do hope you bought some for yourself as well as a special treat to celebrate your blogiversary as well.
ReplyDeleteI subscribe to a couple of Aussie mags - Homespun and Australian Patchwork and Quilting. Also in the last couple of years I have asked my US family to subscribe to some of your magazines and have then sent to me. That is a good treat. So I get to share from both hemispheres.
I hope you have a lot of fun with your give away. Cheers.
I love the vintage 70's look
ReplyDeleteI follow with Bloglovin. I really like to get quilting magazines, my favourites are Love Patchwork and Quilting, and Quilt Now (both are British) because I love inspiration and seeing lots of new fabrics and ideas. Thank you for a great giveaway. x
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I still get 2 modern quilt magazines, I don't always make things from them but I love looking through. (I'm a follower with bloglovin too)
ReplyDeleteI do not get quilting magazines. Used to, but sold almost all of them.
ReplyDeletegoldnplum at gmail dot com
Congratulations, Kelly, on your 5th anniversary. Celebrating with a giveaway is so thoughtful and the fabrics you picked are fabulous! Thru the years I have subscribed to 5 different magazines but I have let all my subscriptions expire. The same type of quilts seemed to show up month after month and I was bored with them. I am much more inspired by blogs like yours, Pinterest, and Instagram.
ReplyDeleteI love Quilts and More magazine the best. I wish I could actually get a subscription though instead of having to buy it each time!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogivrsary! The only magazine I receive is Americn Quilter, which is part of my AQS membership. I will pick up an individual issue if it looks interesting. Thanks for the chance in your giveaway–those fabrics look yummy!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very happy Bloggiversary!! 5 years is a huge feat, and it means we've been friends for nearly 5 years. I subscribe to Quiltmania and Simply Moderne. I like that they have an international view of quilting and showcase quilters from around the world. It's rare I buy other magazines but if others catches my eye I'll buy them.
ReplyDeleteI don't get any mags delivrred, occasionally I purchased one.
ReplyDeleteI just threw away years and years of old quilting magazines- and no, don't subscribe to any.
ReplyDeleteJust discovered your blog - love it!
Faithmatgmaildotcom
Hi! I am definitely a happy follower :). I have bought a couple of magazines at the store before and would probably really enjoy some subscriptions. It just seems to be an indulgent shot in the budget to me so I haven't signed up for any. I have bought a few books. I wish I could have all the magazines the lady above me threw out, haha! I'm so sorry about your wreck and so happy to know that you have recovered and it sounds like you used that horrible accident as a catalyst for creating a good life and positive environment so I give you all kinds of respect. Your strength is a great lesson for all of us!
ReplyDeleteI've been following your blog for a couple of years. I enjoy watching your projects develop and your fabrics shine. :)
ReplyDeleteLinda (lindaschiffer at me dot com)
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! YES I OFTEN BUY QUILTING MAGAZINES AND SHARE THEM WITH MY QUILTING GROUP, THAT WAY EVERYONE CAN GET IDEAS WITHOUT HAVING TO BUY THE MAGAZINE
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your blogaversary!! I do maintain 2 subscriptions at the moment. Quilters Newsletter and American Patchwork and Quilting. Keep blogging.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on 5 years! I still subscribe to quilting magazines -- about 8 or 10 of them I think! I enjoy reading them and sometimes use the patterns. But sometimes I think I should cut back because I do use the internet for a lot of patterns and ideas now.
ReplyDeletejklmengland at windstream dot net
Congratulations! I no longer get quilting magazines - I have saved a lot though. I do subscribe to an emagazine for embroidery which I enjoy. I belong to 3 online sewing clubs and enjoy them very much, and I follow quite a few bloggers which I also enjoy.

Thank you for the giveaway and Happy Blogaversity!! I subscribe to APQ and Primitive Quilts. I am a follower.

Hi Kelly
ReplyDeleteAs a faithful reader of your blog please enter me in the contest. I do not have any current subscriptions. Several reasons. Already have tons of old magazines and patterns and ideas that I probably will never get to. Also Edith always shares hers at bee and often rids herself of them every so often. And despite my failing eyes I take some to peruse. So many wonderful things to try.Keep on blogging. I Love it. Judy Newby
Congrats....I just found your blog today!!! Added you to my growing list. I don't have any magazine subscriptions. I think the internet has enough inspiration for me. Plus sometime I like going to Barnes and Noble to look at quilt magazines. Always a relaxing time. Love your giveaway fabrics. Hope you keep blogging for another five years!!!

ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary Kelly! I just love your blog and have learned so much from you, thank you for that! The contest is over but I'm finding it interesting that so many quilters don't get magazines, I hope this doesn't make them go the way of newspapers. I get two subscriptions, American Patchwork and Quilting and Block from MSQC but I usually buy Quilts and More from the store, it publishes 4 times a year and has cute items to make.
ReplyDelete
