First the good......baby Finn is shaping up to be a very good baby! I have been busy going over to my daughter's house to give her a hand and keep them fed, driving her to Dr appts and in general making sure she gets some rest during the day!
LOVE this! |
One of my must do things was to bake these spool cookies for our quilt show. We have sewing themed cookies for sale that are just darling. I hope if you are local you are planning to come. The dates are May 1 and 2, 2015 and you can get more information HERE. It will be held the same place as 2 years ago at the Ludwig's Fire Hall right near Ludwig's Corner. Hope to see you there!

Oh you are definitely making the right choices...babies grow up so fast, and the fabric will wait. And those cookies look delicious!
ReplyDeletePlease share, where did you get that cookie cutter?
ReplyDeleteBabies and baking - they're great reasons for not sewing.
ReplyDeleteI think if we Cherish the moments we are in right now--it opens the creativeness (ten fold) in the future. And on a side note-these cookies are darn creative if you ask me! Lovin those fabrics too.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the 'settle down cobwebs, dust go to sleep; I'm rocking my baby & babies don't keep' I crossed stitched years ago.
ReplyDeleteyour fabrics look amazing. I so wish I could come to your quilt show - the cookies are such a cute idea!!
ReplyDeleteIt is so good to know that baby and mother are doing well. There will be plenty of sewing time soon so make the most of these early days.
ReplyDeleteSo glad that Mom and baby have you to help them settle in. They grow so darn fast, you must savor those newborn days.
ReplyDeleteSuch cute cookies.
