Visit With Judie

I know I have not been around much, it is autumn and such a busy time, there has been no  sewing going on. This past week I visited my friend Judie who lives in Annapolis, Maryland. This is a picture of a wonderful pottery shop called Annapolis Pottery. It is one of those places that makes it hard time to pick out one or two things. Everything is beautiful!

How cute are these? The colors were great too.

I bought these 2 little guys and I love their scary faces.

Next we went to lunch at the Severn Inn which as you can see is right on the water. We lunched on fish tacos and crab cakes while admiring the view of the Naval Academy. It was a beautiful, warm, breezy day to eat on the deck.

Next we found our way to a quilt store, Cotton Seed Glory that was filled with lots and lots of fabrics.

as you

can see!

It is a beautiful and very cozy port city. The old brick buildings and all the history make this a must see, along with many many cool shops.
Thanks again Judie for another wonderful time!

Kelly

  1. Looks like it was a fun filled week for you and Judie. I am so glad you posted the pictures of the shop. Lots of red fabric there. I know where to go when I run out of mine!
Those scary faces are too cute. Do you decorate your whole house or just a room or two?

  2. I love Annapolis. I spent many, many summer weekends and holidays there before my DD was born. We took her there this summer and she loved it. Of course we stopped in Capital Teas and brought home some new blends.
    Glad you enjoyed your visit.

  8. It's great to see you're out and about, enjoying these fun places. I haven't been in a quilt shop for at least four months, so I'm envious. It's okay not to sew for a while. When you get back to it, you'll be refreshed and uber-productive, I'm sure.
