Monday Morning Colors

At long last a quilt I have been working on for the past 2 years is finished! This is one of my favorite blocks.

For some reason I am having a hard time taking a picture of it. Here is a close up. A black polka dot binding was used to hold in all the craziness!

The baskets are hand appliqued and it is machine quilted. It is all made from scraps which made it fun and interesting to make. The colors definitely reflect my pallette.

  12. Was it scary to put together prints like this? I wouldn't be comfortable picking such busy prints for the same quilt top. But wow! This is a wonderful finish! You can be very proud of yourself.
