Madison, scrap sorter extraordinaire

As you can see the blue scrap bag is overflowing! Today my granddaughter Maddy came over and helped me go through my scraps. She was just as bad as any quilter....."let's give this one away, oh keep that one, it's my favorite."

As you can see there is a lot!

She wanted to do a yoga pose with her embroidery thread......as you can see the fabric is as tall as an almost 7 year old.
She wanted to do the give away....uh her rules, so get ready........

The pictures of Maddy and the scraps are great. She looks like a fellow fabric lover to me.

  50. I love #5! I too have a grandchild that hangs out in the "studio". He's almost 5, but a prolific sewer! Sits on my lap with his hands on mine while "he" sews and yells "PIN!" at the top of his lungs so the machine stops and he takes out the pin and puts it in the pin cushion! I think the blue scraps would be a wonderful project for a bird quilt like yours! Thanks for the chance to win!

    ReplyDelete
  51. #7- all those happy hearts make ME happy!!

    ReplyDelete
  52. It's so hard to pick. I love all of their scrappy happy themes! I guess my favorite would be the house quilt with the very fashionable lady of the house. Thanks for the awesome giveaway. My granddaughter and I need more scraps to play with! (Actually I sew and she plays - she is four). She would love a pile like this cover herself with.

    ReplyDelete
  53. The last thing I need is more fabric but I can't resist all that blue. Given that it's summer, my favorite is #3 - the beach chair and umbrella.
