More Red and Green

I finished my second BTCT block today. I really am so much happier with my fabric choices and it does look Christmasy.

So here are the two together. One thing the photo showed is that the polka dots are directional which I did not notice when I laid them out on the floor. I will be mindful of that as I stitch the rest of them.

My friend Cheryl gave me this to include in the quilt...it works perfectly!

Griffin, Maddy and Elliot had a sleepover here on Saturday night. They are snuggled under a quilt watching a Chirstmas show.

Griffin is in kindergarten and is just learning to write. He made his list for santa and his dad made sure it went in the mail today!

Your friend, Cheryl, has good taste. That fabric will look great in your quilt. As for your dots, if you keep the rest of them all going in the "correct" direction, will the one block look off? I am almost thinking that you should either alternate them or just do them random.

Okay, those blocks are simply delightful!!! And so are your children!

I found your blog from the weekly contest at Quilting Gallery. I entered as well and am visiting some of the blogs from the other entries. Obviously, some very talented women and I always enjoy the inspiration found in other's blogs. I love your runner, very cheerful and bright.

Enjoyed stopping by...and Merry Christmas!!
