December Birthdays
December birthdays have a tendency to get lost in the shuffle of the holidays. I know because mine is in December. I have a friend Terry and her birthday is the day after mine. I decided last minute to make her a gift. Us December girls need to stick together!
This little needle book was fun and easy to make. It took me longer to pick out the fabrics than it did to make it. Picking out the fabrics is the best part, don't you think!?
Inside there is a pocket on both sides. Perfect for some floss or scissors. She loves dogs.....the ruler fabric was an easy choice. Notice how the printing on the fabric worked so you can read it? I was very happy my vision worked, that is not always the case!
I used the last of my tie dyed wool that went perfectly with the pinks. This is where you put your needles and pins.
I put a label on the back so she will always remember who made it! 😏
I discovered a way to finish a binding edge that I love! It is perfect for small projects like this. Want me to do a tutorial? I love how it looks.
One way I know a gift is successful is if I have a hard time giving it away. Yes I would love to keep this one!
