It's Friday Let's Have A Giveaway!

Earlier this summer I was contacted by Triangle On A Roll and asked to try their product and if I wanted, to do a giveaway. They sent me the 60* Triangles on a Roll which is the one I am using in the above picture. It is perfect for a border which is how I thought I would use it. Then this swap came along and I decided I will be designing my quilt using these. It's a Kaffe Fassett swap so stay tuned to see what I am making.

One of the nice things I like is that the directions are printed along the edge of the paper so you can't lose them. I also like that it is one continuous piece so you can cut them as long as you need for your project.

There is even a visual which is good for me! I like pictures.

I also received this ruler to pre-cut your triangles, instead of winging it and having to trim the seam allowances. The roll I chose has 2 sizes to pick, either 3 12/" or 6 1/2".

In no time at all they were cut and I was ready to sew.

So the first giveaway is a roll of 2" finished Triangles on a roll. This roll makes 800!

The second is a roll of Quarter Square Triangles and it makes 300 and they finish at 3 1/2".

Here is my review-----I do like paper piecing as I like somethings to be very exact. The product was easy to use and I like how everything was on the roll, no instructions to lose! I would recommend this product and  can't wait to gt back to my quilt.

In my quest to clean out e.v.e.r.y. single room in my house, I came across a class picture from 3rd grade. That was 50 years ago, I almost choked!
So in order to win, guess which picture is me. I know some of you don't know what I look like but that does not mean you can't win. Just take a wild guess! Be sure to let me know which roll you would like to win.
If I don't have your email I can't contact you if you are a winner. Please be sure to leave it with your comment.
I will pick a winner on July 24th.

GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED!

Good luck!
Kelly

  9. What a fun challenge! I'm guessing the fourth row far left. Your triangles are looking delightful! Your fabric selections and color sense are some of the reasons that I love your blog. I like to paper piece and I'd love to try the triangles on a roll. And either size would be great.

  23. I would love to have the quarter square 3 1/2 inch roll, if I luck out and guess correctly, haha! My guess is the 4th row, next to the bottom, and that you are the third girl over with a barrette in her hair :). Fun idea!

  26. Top row, on the right....though I am of course guessing wildly! I have seen these triangles on websites, but not in NZ, so am delighted to see your review. I might have to slip some in a future online order, just waiting for our dollar to rise again against the US$. Budgets are such a hindrance to stash acquisition. Tarnia.hodges at gmail.com

  30. All the girls are adorable! How about second row, first on left. I would take the 2in to try. I hate small things.

    ReplyDelete
  31. I am guessing the lower left corner. She looks like she could be one of your grandkids. Those triangle papers look helpful. I love the look of HST's but don't always want the work of them. I would pick the bigger size. I also loved your hexagon Halloween quilt.

  32. I love little games like this. Bottom row, second girl from the left. I would love the quarter square triangles, if I win. =)

  38. Wow difficult: I think you could be the girl on the third row, second picture (first girl in that row). Both rolls look fun to try, may be I would like to try the 2 " finished triangles.
(Second guess, if I could make a second guess: the girl with the glasses)
It is fun to look at old pictures don't you think? I'm very curious who you are!

  41. Last row, far right? Too fun! I haven't tried the 60 degree triangles yet. Now I'm tempted!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Now this is a unique contest...how creative! Not only would I love to try those triangles, but I love seeing "old" class pictures! We are about the same age and I just cringe looking at my old photos. Yikes! My guess is that you are the middle little lady in the 4th row, with the reeeealllly short bangs and the Peter Pan collar.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Thank you for the giveaway! I would love to try these triangles. Perhaps you are in the third row, second from the left?

    ReplyDelete
  44. My wild guess is the first girl on the first row! I've used the half square triangles on a roll and was pleased but did not know these others existed. I would choose the 60 degree triangles as they are difficult to get even. Thanks for sharing!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Easy. You are in the middle row (3rd row down), second from the left (a boy first, then you). The hard part is choosing which triangles - I would choose the 2" triangles since I have the half square triangle method nailed.

    ReplyDelete
  46. middle girl on the bottom row! cutest school pictures ever! and i would pick the 2in triangles. I'm pretty good at HST's but have never attempted any other kind of triangle

  49. Third row, second picture. Any of the rolls would be great fun to try

  51. I think that's you in the third row, second from the left. If I win, I'd prefer the 2 inch triangles. Looks like a fast way to make triangles with the points matching perfectly.

    ReplyDelete
  52. 4th row 5th picture. And if not, i wanna be her

    ReplyDelete
  53. I'd say first row, second from the left. I'd love the triangles too. Thanks!
