More Mug Rugs

These are some more of the mug rugs I made for a friend's birthday. She is a quilter so I know she will enjoy them. I am hoping she will use them when she has some of her quilty friends over for tea or coffee.
It is a fun way to play with some scraps and color combinations on a small scale.

Isn't this bee fabric cool? The simple straight line quilting goes fast and is just enough to make it nice.

I am also sending her the pot holder to set the pot of tea or coffee on. I love the black and white polka dots! I think this feels kind of vintage like.

Aren't the cups cute?

The gardens are fading fast. I love this combination of roses, blue salvia and purple polka dot flowers.
Now I need to go make some rug mugs for myself. Enjoy this beautiful fall day!

Your flowers are so pretty, They really do look like summer in a vase. Do you really call the purple gomphrena , polka dot flowers? That is such a cute name for them!
