Ok Here We Go

I am using an iPad to post this and have no idea if it will work or not so please bear with me.......

My husband I went to St Augustine Florida last week.. It is a beautiful city and I want to go back. The weather was in the '70s and no rain.....sounds pretty good? Except that I spent one day in the hospital because of a kidney stone. So above is one of my souvenirs.

We went to a few art galleries and I found some work of a blogger I follow. Her name is Elizabeth St. Hilaire Nelson. Her blog is http://elizabethsthilairenelson.blogspot.com/ do check it out her work is very cool.

The way her art is made she makes a sketch, paints it and then tears her handmade paper into bits and glues it over the painted part. They are so beautiful! I bought her DVD to watch her process.

Ok so far so good. I don't know how to make a hot link so you will have to cut and paste......but do go look, it translates to quilting. A little like Snippets but much cooler.

Thanks Anna for your help!! I really appreciate it.

Kelly
