I think my block says it all this week! I ended up not having to even go but I made the block ahead of time because my times were for Monday and Tuesday.
I have been on a jury twice and really did like it, I don't know why everyone complains about it. I thought it was interesting to see how it all works. No matter how silly the lawsuit, everyone takes it very seriously.
I think I am back in the groove, the sewing groove that is. I have gotten some things done and have lots of irons in the fire.

can you believe I've been called 5 times? 2x in Illinois and 3x in NJ. Unreal. Hope you don't get stuck in a case, unless you want to. I did a case it was sort of interesting.
ReplyDeletelove that it will be in the calendar quilt
Well this will be a block that will remind you of all the jury duty conversations for sure! Let's see how it unfolds for me too. Can't wait to see that quilt you are working on.
ReplyDeleteHow perfect. Your diary is going to be something to treasure forever.
ReplyDeleteMy husband gets called all the time and for some reason I've never been... I agree with Mary this calendar quilt is going to be spectacular!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!! That is such an unexpected block!! I've been called up but luckily didn't get chosen because it really would have made it difficult at my work. You're right though, it would be really interesting. I'm glad you're in your sewing groove again!!
ReplyDeleteBack in the groove?? Hooray!!
ReplyDeleteGood for you to have such a positive attitude about jury duty. In my 59 years, I've only been called once, and then was not selected. I guess I don't know what I've been missing. Anyway, your diary card for the week is perfect.
ReplyDeleteI was called about 30 yrs ago and not since....I hope I am not jinxing myself. I did not really enjoy it so much. I waited in a room with dozens of other people for the better part of two weeks and only sat in on one trial. Can't wait to see what you are working on.
ReplyDeleteI have never been called up for jury duty. I think I should do it but hope I wouldn't get a really serious case, like rape or murder.
ReplyDeleteThe hubby had to go Tuesday for Jury Duty. One 50 minute train ride there, a mile or so walk, then lots of sitting followed by the train ride back.
