Flashback Friday

My grandsons, Griffin and Elliot made some mini quilts yesterday. Griffin's (6) is on the left and Elliot's (4) is on the right. Now I have to fuse them and I told them they could help do some sewing on the sewing machine. They did a great job. I think Elliot enjoyed using the scissors!

I just dumped out the fabric and let them go for it.

Hard at work!

Did you know that today is a very special day?  It is the 25th anniversary of.......

Bueller......... Bueller.......... Bueller.....
Our family loves this movie and always watches it when it is on. If you have not seen it make sure you do!

  1. Your grandsons are so sweet making mini quilts. I like the photo of them hard at work. I'd forgotten about Ferris Buellers day off movie, I'll have to watch it again. 25 years ago.. really, that long ago?

  2. Oh, that movie is aging me, lol. The boys look like they had a lot of fun and the best part is that they did it themselves.

  3. My grandson wanted me to show him what every stitch button on my Bernina would do on fabric last week. He is four and curious about everything. Fun age.

  5. Your grandsons look like they are having a great time. MY Older Grandson (17 months) is still at the stage of emptying scraps on the floor and walking away with one or two pieces.

  7. I love that the boys are enjoying sewing and playing with fabric! My Andrew always hung out with me in my sewing room and he made his girlfriend a dress for their theater banquet this year!
