I am not sure if I like this quilt or not.....It did not turn out like anything I had in my head. I did use all hand dyed fabrics which I really like using. The texture is wonderful and the colors are so rich and saturated.
I started out with these strips and they kind of ended up all in the blue to green family...again not what I was thinking....
I tried this as a background and it just felt too washed out. So I let it stew for a couple of days and remembered that I had a very dark blue almost black hand dyed that I thought I would try. It was better than what I had at first....but again I am still not sure.
I went ahead a sewed up the strips, because I don't need another unfinished project!

I think I need to clean up so I can find things and get some sewing done.....

You had me laughing with that sewing room.. I went to Bed Bath and Beyond to get coffee for my machine and came home with 5 underthebed storage boxes. They were reduce to $4.99 and I had coupons. So guess what I am doing, trying to get some of my mess out of sight.. I should have bought 20 of them...joanne
