Glorious Autumn!

I took this picture this morning when the sky was still gray. It inspires me so much! Autumn is my favorite for sure! This was taken in my front yard.

I took a ride today and ended up at an adorable place called Floral and Hardy in Skippack PA. The people at the store were kind enough to let me take some pictures. How cute are these? They would be a fun project to do with the kids. They have lots of lovely gifts as well, check them out if you are local.

Down the road a bit is this stunning display! It is something to see in person for sure!

There is just something so homey about fall decorations. Maybe it's getting ready to hibernate for the winter and knowing we won't see anything green for a long time. It certainly gets my attention!

  2. Mark & I were commenting the other day that trees in our part of MD are not as colorful,as in PA (or New England, for sure). We are waiting for our October Spendor maple to change....in November.

  3. What a gorgeous riot of color! Makes me almost want a pumpkin latte-- if it wasn't so dang hot and humid. Change is coming!

  5. Thank you for showing your gorgeous trees, we have two trees that turn colors but not nearly as gorgeous as yours, we don't get that pretty yellow. Southern California is still hot so our trees are still green. Now I understand why my parents loved those Fall Colors trips they took every year.

  6. I agree that you have some gorgeous fall views! I never thought I'd miss them, but I do, especially the changing colors of the trees. And then I think about those same trees without leaves... with the wind blowing, and the rain/snow falling... and I'm happy where I am! Lovely trees. Charming pumpkins. Beautiful mums. You have many pretties to admire.
