Christmas Shopping

oohhhh!

So today I started Christmas shopping full force. I have picked up a couple of things here and there but not with a lot of enthusiasm.
Imagine my surprise when I found myself at my LQS, The Quilt Block, to find just the right fabric for a gift I am making.

I will be buying yardage of this one.....

Yes I like these a lot!

  1. Neat fabrics--my problem (being over 70!) is that I seem to be used to older typefabrics and have trouble using "modern" fabrics...I love how you put them together. Hugs, Julierose

  2. Ooooh, pretty, pretty! Funny how I often end up in a fabric shop, even when I'm supposed to be buying groceries. ;o) It's a dangerous thing to locate a fabric store nextdoor to a food store. hee hee

  10. I have to be careful to stay out of the quilt shops during the holidays. I get in the buying mode and it becomes dangerous.:)

  12. Oh dear. You're putting me to shame by just THINKING about Christmas shopping, let alone doing it. Since no one is coming to our house for Christmas (seventh year in a row, but who's counting?) nor are we going to visit anyone, it's difficult to think of getting into the spirit. It's likely we'll just send money. I would sure do it differently though if I knew I would be celebrating with family. Hope you have fun with all your shopping, quilt-y and otherwise.
