Pretty In Pink

I haven't felt well for the past 2 days so I am laying low. I have this at the ready just in case the feeling to sew moves me.
I am reading a good book for book club, Keep Quiet by Lisa Scottoline. It is giving me a lot of anxiety! I think it will make for a good discussion. The book takes place in the area that I live too! Has anyone out there read it?

  1. Take care and get better soon. That tray of hexie making things is so pretty. I haven't read that book, it's fun that it's set in your area but I'm not sure that it's good to be giving you anxiety. Sounds like a very interesting book club book!

  7. Well, if looking at that pink doesn't make you feel better nuthin' will……maybe you needed to just rest a little with a good book. That's sounds so restful to me!!

  9. Kelly, you could work in the industry, as my daughter says. Stylist! Not a huge fan of pink and still I'm smiling at the lovely vignette. I want to sew those hexies!
I've read lots of Lisa Scottoline books but not that one yet. They're good to listen to also.

  13. I always appreciate a good book recommendation, and will make a note of this one. I can recommend an excellent series to you... It's "The Selection" trilogy by Kiera Cass. I'm SO hooked on it... and dying to get my hands on the third book! Sorry you haven't been well, but now aren't you glad you prepared extra hexies?
