At A Glance Pouch

How sweet is this little pouch? I was wanting to make something with the bee fabric and found a pattern by Aneela Hoey called At A Glance Pouch.

It's hard to see but there is clear vinyl on the front so you can see what is inside. I haven't worked with clear vinyl before but it was easy using those binding clips.

I like how you fold over the flap and tuck it under, simple but useful.
This is going to be a gift for someone special, I hope it inspires her to make some more hexies!

Size is about 7 wide x 8 high
Fabric is  Flower Patch by Lori Holt for Riley Blake.

  2. Well, how cute is that? (Very!)
I haven't used vinyl in years but as I recall, it wasn't as much of a challenge as I thought it would be.

  4. That is such a clever idea, and such a perfect way to use the bee fabric. A great way to use the binding clips too, they're my new favourite sewing thing.

  7. Love to be able to see inside my "bags, pouches, etc." so that I do not have to open every one to find what I want. Cute pouch, I like that it doesn't need a zipper.

  8. Cute pouch, very cute bee fabric! You do a real pro job! I've never sewn with vinyl before, so it's nice to hear that it's not necessarily scary to work with!
