Fall Is Almost Here

It has been a crazy couple of days around here. The weather has felt like we are in the tropics. Yesterday we got the leftovers of Tropical Storm Nicole and it was very damp and stormy to say the least.
I am looking forward to Fall and it looks like the weather is taking a turn this weekend to cooler and more Fall like.
I like Halloween just because it is fun and now that I don't have little children any more, no pressure to do anything! We don't even have to hand out candy because there are no children in the neighborhood. I try to make a halloween quilt every year just because the grandkids love them, what better reason than that....

This is the newest one called New Wave and you can find the tutorial right here http://www.ohfransson.com/oh_fransson/2010/03/new-wave-quilt.html It was fun and very easy to make.

A little rick rack along the binding edge because it is fun (it's a little hard to see).

Not a very good picture
Another quilt I made 2 years ago.

Back of quilt, I love that fabric!

This one was made using charm squares which was super easy. I had the border print for a long time and did not know what to do with it.

This is another favorite fabric that I don't know where I got it or who made it. I wish I would have gotten more.

My friend Cheryl is participating in a blog hop. Hop on over to her blog and you may be able to win some of her hand dyed embroidery floss. You can find her here http://cheryllynchquilts.blogspot.com/2010/09/fall-blog-hop-giveaway.html
